So who is this party band that many speak of?
Kazoobian are a Blackpool wedding band covering music from all era’s with our own special flavouring. With an energetic tongue in cheek attitude we are busy entertaining the masses all around the Fylde Coast and following huge success from the hit YouTube videos South Shore, Moving To Poulton, & the controversial Time To Go we have been in huge demand as the band that’s “Not like the others.”
We are an exceptional and extremely professional covers band based in the North West of the UK regularly performing at weddings & parties across Lancashire (we will travel further). Fully PAT tested and with Public Liability Insurance we never fail to pack the dance floor, leaving you and your guests a night you will remember!
We fully appreciate that it is your special day and will do everything we can to ensure that we, as your wedding band, exceed your expectations and make your night very special. We are happy to learn the first dance of your choice and will also tailor the set and music between sets to your tastes.
We can provide music from a laptop before, in-between and after but we are more than happy for you to connect your own iPod or laptop to play your own playlists. If you would like us to trim down for your wedding breakfast we can provide just piano backing while you and your guests dine.
We come self-contained with professional PA, stage lighting and DJ so provide an entire entertainment package!
We are always available on the phone or email to answer any questions you might have and are always happy to help make your wedding day the best it can be.
We believe that booking the right live band for your wedding reception can transform your day in to something special and have put this band together with that in mind. We are happy to be flexible with times, set list, and will learn a first dance of your choice plus others if you give us enough notice!
Once booked, we’re happy to take responsibility in ensuring your evening reception runs smoothly, by dealing directly with the management and banqueting staff at your chosen venue, so that everything runs as planned. This leaves you free to enjoy your important day with your family & friends.
If you are interested in booking us for a private event such as birthday’s, corporate events, functions, bar mitzvah’s and even funerals please call Darren on 07961159876 or email us here.
How long do Kazoobian play for?
We usually play a 45 minute set then a 1 hour set but can play for longer if you require, for example 3 x 40 minute sets, or 2 x 60 minute sets. If you are looking for a wedding band for hire that can cater for your specific requirements, then we are happy to help! We can arrange performance times to suit your needs, or if you need to check with us, or want some advice on what works best then please get in touch.
How many are in the band, and what instruments do you play?
Our lineup is a four piece band featuring Vocals, Guitars, Drums & Keyboard.
Do you travel outside of the North West?
Yes, but at an agreed cost.
Where can we see you?
Check out our Gig Diary, we are always out and about playing.
Do you need a deposit?
Yes we ask for a deposit which will then secure your date in our diary. This deposit is deducted from the total fee with the balance payable on or before the date of our performance.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not! We supply all PA equipment, lighting and anything else your events needs. We’ll send you a written confirmation of all details of your event after you have booked so that you have complete peace of mind.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once a booking has been confirmed we offer a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period, within which time you may cancel the booking and be entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid. If the event is cancelled or postponed more than 4 weeks in advance of the performance, 50% of the total agreed fee will be due at the point of cancellation. At less than 4 weeks notice the full fee will be due.
Do you offer a midweek discount?
Yes. We offer a discount for Sunday (apart from bank holidays), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
Is there anything we need to do after we have secured the date with the band?
Once we have received confirmation of your event, we will be in touch to confirm all timings and technical details, either directly with yourselves, the venue or via the organiser.
How long does it take you to set up?
It takes us between 60 and 90 minutes from when we arrive to set up and be ready to play for you. It depends on whether the room is cleared and ready for us to setup and the size of the event and the band lineup.
Can you set up before the wedding breakfast?
Sure, we can setup at whatever time suits your event but we might charge a little extra to take account of the extra time on site.
I’m worried that the music will be too loud, can you turn it down?
Yes. We are very careful about how loud we play. We try to aim all our sound at the dance floor, so that your guests elsewhere in the room don’t have to shout to be heard. If you feel at any point that we are too loud, we will always turn down. There is a limit however to how quiet we can play due to the natural acoustic sound of our instruments. We would advise caution if your venue has a sound limiter installed as this can often cause problems with live music.
Can the band play our first dance?
We’d love to! All we ask is that you give us enough time to learn your song before our performance, ideally one month before the event.
Can I select the bands set list?
You can let us know if there are any songs in particular you really do or don’t want us to play, and some guidance over styles you prefer is absolutely fine but in general we’d ask to leave the individual song selection to us. Our job is to keep the dance floor full, and we know what works!
What is your dress code?
We all dress smartly, at private events however if you would prefer us to dress more casually then just let us know.
Can you provide the DJ?
Yes. We can supply a DJ service for you as part of our complete entertainment package.
How long do you DJ for?
The DJ can play for as long as you like but an hour after the band finish is usual. We usually finish the DJ service at midnight but can play longer for an additional fee.
Can I pick a playlist for the DJ?
Yes. We encourage you to give us a list of songs you like, so we can incorporate them into the DJ set.
